Ingredients for the Beer Cheese:
- Use 3 tablespoons of butter.
- 3 Tablespoons Flour
- 1/2 Cup Lager Beer
- 1 Cup Half-and-Half
- Also 1 Teaspoon of Dijon mustard.
- 1 Teaspoon of Whole Grain Mustard
- & 1 Teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
- 1/2 Teaspoon of Garlic Powder
- 1/2 Teaspoon of Salt
- 1/4 Teaspoon of Pepper
- 1/8 Teaspoon of Cayenne Pepper
- 1/8 Teaspoon of smoky paprika
- Pinch of Dried Parsley (Optional)
- 3 Cups of Shredded Cheddar Cheese

STEP 1: In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add flour and whisk until combined. About 30 seconds.
STEP 2: Add the Lager. And whisk until the lumps from the flour have been removed.
STEP 3: Slowly add in the half-and-half, whisking as you pour it into the mixture.
STEP 4: Whisking often for several minutes until the mixture thickens. Then stir in mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, pepper, paprika, cayenne pepper, and dried parsley.
STEP 5: Add cheese in a handful at a time until it is melted and the mixture is smoothed out.
